Josh and I believe in simplicity- especially when it comes to planning your wedding. That’s why instead of approaching photography with multiple packages, offers, and combinations, we have our one, all-inclusive package. Our desire is to keep it easy for you, and keep photography the way it’s supposed to be- fun, and something you look back on with only joy. So when you book with Josh and I, you get what we think is the product of beauty and simplicity.

It is our great joy in life to travel. Where you need us, we will be. We have a flat rate travel fee, and then Kate and I will work together to find budget-safe hotels/VRBO’s, flights and more, so we can then present those costs to you for reimbursement before the fact! We also have a special destination travel deal as well! It includes a waived travel fee and a 25% discount of your package! Find out more by clicking the link above!

We love our online gallery delivery software called Pic Time! It’s amazing for us, and somehow better for you. You’ll receive a link to all your photos where you can download, print, and share to your heart’s desire. And yes, please send this link to all your friends and family! Bring them in on the fun!

Easy answer- it depends! However, we don’t meet a minimum or maximum. This avoids extra fluff in your gallery. On a wedding day we typically deliver about 100 per hour of coverage, so that usually averages out to 1,100-1,200 photos, but could be easily more, or less depending on your wedding day! For engagement sessions where the focus is on the photos, we’re going to deliver around 100-200 photos!

Once you reach out, we’ll get in touch to schedule a 30 minute call! It’s your choice of Zoom or a phone call, or in person if local! Kate and I are always going to encourage talking over Zoom or in-person!

Yes, but from our experience it’s rare to have to stay at a wedding day that’s more than 11 hours- our maximum! Kate and I will both be there, which means all the set-up and details of the morning that usually take longer, are able to be completed efficiently and beautifully, cutting down on total coverage time! Of course if you need us there longer, we’d be more than happy to figure out those details.

We hired Josh and Kate for our May 2023 wedding in Aylett, VA. From the beginning, Josh and Kate took the time to get to know my husband and I, and to gain a better understanding of our vision for our wedding day. When it came to communication leading up to the wedding, they were wonderful, promptly answering any and all questions we had. Additionally, they were exceptionally kind and personable the entire way through— thus we were always smiling or laughing. On the day of our wedding, Josh and Kate were timely and flexible. They went as far as keeping track of our wedding events schedule to help keep the day moving along according to our wishes. These two also made taking photos so easy and so fun! You do not have to worry about knowing how to pose with Josh and Kate, because they are full of ideas and do a great job gently guiding and encouraging you.
